Schuyler Thomason didn’t take a straight line to where he is today — and that’s exactly what makes him exceptional at his job.
Like many in the Thomason family, Schuyler started early. Right out of high school he joined the local union apprenticeship program, building a foundation in the trades the right way — from the ground up, with his hands. He learned the craft with the kind of discipline that only comes from putting in the work before anyone is paying attention.
But Schuyler’s path took an unexpected turn. After completing his apprenticeship, he stepped away from construction and into restaurant management — a world that might seem unrelated, but sharpened exactly the skills that make a great superintendent. Managing people under pressure, running tight operations, delivering a consistent product to demanding clients, and keeping a team accountable when everything is moving fast — Schuyler brought all of it back to the job site when he returned to the trades.
He came back as an Assistant Superintendent and wasted no time proving himself. His rise to General Superintendent was built on a simple formula: show up, outwork everyone, and deliver. His project portfolio reflects the full range of what Las Vegas construction demands — complex tenant improvements, large-scale tilt-up buildings, and ground-up construction projects across the valley. Whatever the project type, Schuyler brings the same standard: safe, on time, and done right.
As General Superintendent at Thomason Construction, Schuyler is the person on the ground making sure every project runs the way it’s supposed to. He leads crews, manages timelines, coordinates trades, and holds the line on quality from the first day of work to the last.
Away from the job site, Schuyler is equally committed to the people who matter most. He lives in Las Vegas with his wife and their two daughters, and outside of construction he channels that same leadership and dedication into coaching travel ball softball — a role he has taken so seriously that he gets paid to do it. To Schuyler, building something great isn’t just about concrete and drywall. It’s about showing up for the people counting on you, every single time.
